9 Signs Your Sewer Line Is Damaged
A damaged sewer line gets worse with time. Catch it early and repairs stay smaller.
Watch for:
1. Slow drains in several fixtures at once.
2. Gurgling toilets or drains.
3. Sewage smells indoors or in the yard.
4. Wet, sunken or unusually green patches of lawn.
5. Backups in the lowest drain of the house.
6. Cracks in the foundation or slab.
7. Rodents or insects coming from drains.
8. Repeat clogs after cleaning.
9. Water bills that climb with no explanation.
